Then off to about L2xxxxx L5xxxxx only 4-Liner dial and bezel either 200 or 225/250 with rare bezel!
The font of the 4 liner is different from the floating dials. Also the red logo is on the DAYTONA Floaters same as with the Big Red 6263/65.
And the bezel is a large Rolex 225/250er mystery: This numbersmarks on the bezel is legendary, the first 6239 from the early 60s
had a 300UPH Scala WITH 225 AND 250 labels - which was then in the mid 60s with the introduction of the new 200UPH lunettes obsolete.
As published in 1988, the new Zenith Rolex Daytona, the first models were also a 200UPH bezel. And now comes the astonishing part of the story: After a few months ago decided to Rolex for a 400UPH bezel - and again, as a reference to the first Daytonas - Scaling and size 225 and 250!
This draft was then a few months later shelved and should get up to 16 520 in 2000, only setting the standard with a 240 400UPH scaling.
That is the same bezel as well still is found today in the 116520 use.
And here's an interesting version of the game, there were only a few months between L2xxxxx and L3xxxxx:
Floating Cosmograph sheet with 225/250er bezel! mega rare, especially with a black dial. This version combines the best 16520er bezel with the most beautiful dial for this reference
