I need your help buddies:
I plan to buy two watches from a very certain time:
- one should be made between January-September in 2000 (possibly nearer to the end of the time interval)
- other should be from between January-September in 2002 (again possibly to the end of the mentioned time interval)
Model not decided yet, most possible is the Fliegerchrono Classic 3706 on Mk.I. bracelet, but Spitfire or GST Chrono 3707 are also considered. After decision there have to be two of the very same kind.
The question is how I can estimate the production date of a certain watch that she comes from this period? I hope there is a list of case numbers and time intervals to help, as even papers with the watch can say only date of selling. I know there are some helps, such as AR coating, Luminova dials, fish-crown, etc. but these are far not exact enough to make this sure.
I could find on the internet case numbers to help only from the earlier times (say till 1974).
