    Die LE wird eh wieder eine microedition und Hodinkee ist halt eine Werbeplattform welche den US Markt erheblich beeinflusst

    Business as usual kann schon sein Jan, wird aber Milspec-Käufern und Interessierten -genauso usual‐ in der Regel nicht gefallen. Bucherer dürfte nebenbei auch noch einen besseren Ruf haben als Hodinkee.com ...Das Echo auf die Ankündigung fällt international nun auch nicht so berauschend aus. Ist halt das Geschmäckle bei so einer Sache, wo von vornherein klar ist, dass mit einer Kleinserie mal auf die Schnelle viel Kohle abgegriffen werden soll...

    naja, wenn mir die Uhr gefällt und ich sie haben möchte kann mir doch wurscht sein ob ich sie über Hodinkee kaufe oder über eine Blancpain Boutique .

    Das Hodinkee gebashe habe ich nie richtig verstanden. Die Jungs haben aus einem Uhren blog ein mega business case gemacht.... da muss ich ehrlich sagen chapeau:hut:

    Weih Koo macht mit Revolution nix anderes und wird wenig bis gar nicht kritisiert .... 🤷🏼‍♂️

    Der hat auch nicht verheimlicht, dass LVMH Anteile und damit erheblichen redaktionellen Einfluss erworben hat. Außerdem hat er auch nicht versucht, die Leute mit einem Reisewecker (Eigenmarke) übers Ohr zu hauen.

    'Verheimlicht' ? ...ist das so . Ich kenne nur die offizielle Version.

    Wer Hodinkee aufmerksam verfolgt hat, war wohl nicht groß überrascht über diese Übernahme.


    Wer sich durch den Erwerb der Reismöhre übervorteilt vorkam, ...naja ich sach' mal so .....der hat's verdient:prust:

    THE BACKSTORY

    The original Blancpain Fifty Fathoms was born after World War II, when the then-novel world of SCUBA diving was becoming more and more accepted by both hobbyists and professionals alike. The model was the leading modern dive watch and for years, remained one of the only divers to be truly watertight and to have a functional rotating bezel. One reason the Fifty Fathoms was so functional is simply because it was developed by a diver, for divers. After running out of air while diving and being forced to make an emergency ascent, Blancpain's then-CEO Jean-Jacques Fiechter set out to design a watch that could help track how long a diver had been breathing from their SCUBA system.     Hatte 4 Anläufe genommen, das erste Modell zu kaufen, immer hat was nicht geklappt. Wie verhext.


    und dann diese Version, mein Traum,mattiert, kein Datum, kein Schriftzug an der Seite, besser geht nicht! So muss eine Tool Watch vom Militär aussehen.

    Ich kann’s kaum erwarten.

    Nicht schlecht aber mir gefielen die Barracuda und die Ocean Comittement besser.


    Die Frage ist für mich wann Blancpain eine 40mm in Serie bringt?

    Auf was warten die...oder verkaufen sich die 45mm die Bathyscaph und die Villeret Kollektion so gut, dass sie es nicht nötig haben?

    finde ich gelungen aber mir leider zu klein, war bei der Barakuda bei mir auch so

    Das Hodinkee keine ‚Herrenuhr‘ lanciert hatte ich mir schon vorher gedacht, bei über 43 mm kippen die Jungens wahrscheinlich vom Schreibtisch😉
