It looks not better on the way to Denmark.

    d1959.jpg

Finally on the ferry to Germany.

    d1960.jpg

We still have to fight with the rain in Germany.

    d1958.jpg

Then when we arrive to Kalbe the weather looks good.

    d1957.jpg

A nice stroll, looking at the old houses.

    d1917.jpg

    This streets have some history.

    d1918.jpg

    d1919.jpg

And this house I will come back to.

    d1920.jpg

Now we need to prepare for the next day, of course we follow the traditions and get a schnitzel.

    d1950.jpg

Then there will be creme brulee and plum snaps.

    d1951.jpg

And it was so good that we order a bottle.

    d1952.jpg

After a good sleep it looks nice from our hotel window.

    d1953.jpg

Now it's time to see what The Dornblüth Team have to show us.

    d191.jpg

A big tent at the manufacturer will be the place for the presentation.

    d193.jpg

There was a lot of gifts.

    d194.jpg

    d192.jpg

Now the guests are ready for the news.

    d195.jpg

    The Dornblüth Team are ready.

    d196.jpg

    d197.jpg

Now we all are curious about what is coming.

    d198.jpg

    d199.jpg

    The 99.1 Medium in 40mm.

    d1910.jpg

    d1911.jpg

    d1912.jpg

Next is a limited production of 20 pieces each. Quintus-2010 Jubilar.

    d1913.jpg

Father and son, Dirk and Dieter Dornblüth the founder of the company.

    d1914.jpg

Then we have to get something to eat before we looking closer at the watches.

    d1916.jpg

    d1915.jpg

The 40mm version of the 99.1

    d1921.jpg

    d1936.jpg

    d1961.jpg

Here we see Dieter's private watch that is the inspiration for Quintus-2010 Jubilar.

    d1922.jpg

A nice GUB movement with screwed chatons.

    d1923.jpg

Here I come back to the door, coincident or inspiration?

    d1920.jpg

The Quintus-2010 Jubilar will be made in 20 each in steel, rosegold and platinum.

    d1924.jpg

    Blued alpha hands.

    d1927.jpg

Rhodium finish at the movement instaed of the rosegold finish that use to be a signum for Dornblüth watches.

    d1925.jpg

    A really nice looking movement.

    d1926.jpg

    The blue version.

    d1933.jpg

    d1934.jpg

    d1935.jpg

And the black that was my favourite.

    d1931.jpg

    d1932.jpg

Quintus-2010 Großdatum (Big Date), the first Dornblüth with a date window.

    d1930.jpg

And finally the 2010-Quintus Kraftzwölf (Power 12) that use the 12 as power reserve window.

    d1928.jpg

    d1929.jpg

Then we got a guided tour at the manufacturer, here where they made the dials.

    d1937.jpg

    d1938.jpg

    d1939.jpg

    d1940.jpg

    d1941.jpg

The polishing machine for the ceramic dials.

    d1942.jpg

    d1943.jpg

Here is a lot going on.

    d1944.jpg

I love the "bezel" at the magnifyer.

    d1945.jpg

    A dream for my mancave.

    d1946.jpg

Some guy will soon get his new watch.

    d1947.jpg

Here is where they blue the hands.

    d1948.jpg

Now was the time to gather their impressions of the day over some food and talk watches with people from all over the world.

    d1955.jpg

This dessert was really good IMHO because I love sour desserts.

    d1954.jpg

Is there a better way to end a rewarding day?

    d1956.jpg

A big thank you to The Dornblüth Team and all the nice people we met.
