Hello Everyone,
Do you use your vintage Rolex for daily use or only for special occasions? Just curious
Have a nice day

Claus

of course; this is a tool
Now that would just be a matter of how to define 'vintage', I guess.
Personally I would not want to wreck my rare collector's item through extensive use. However, if the watch is considered more of an instrument than a valuable, why not wear it on a daily basis? Btw both options include wearing that watch for special occasions - needless to say
I would definitely not wear a good Vintage-Watch for Daily use, because i´m a "polishing-cloth-Pussy" (kann man PTM so übersetzen?!)

Hi, Wieso heißt du Claus und schreibst auf Englisch?
Anyway - I would go as with any old item, since sealings, gears and bearings show wear over the decades. Some hardliners among us even keep frequently changed parts like the crown, tubus and so on. If so, you are highly recommendet not to take your watch under water.
I'll leave the conclusion up to you..

Junge ist mir jetzt zu blöd hier. Wenigstens kenne ich jetzt den Grund, auf den du mich ja schön barsch hingewiesen hast.
I hope that our friend feels well-informed and will return, regardless of having taken a sip of the savage spirit here - stay it's a nice place
